Q: Have you found an animal?
A: We do not have a physical location and cannot accept found dogs.

Q: Can we meet the pet before we apply?
A: To ensure the safety of all animals and board members, all applicants must complete our adoption process before meeting a pet.
Q: Why do we require background checks?
A: To ensure the safety of our animals, applicants, volunteers and board members any adult who will be caring for an animal must not have a criminal record of Domestic, physical or sexual abuse/violence.
Q: What are we looking for during the home visit?
A: We are looking for potential dangers, and want to ensure that thought has been put into adopting a new family member including: where the animal will sleep, plans for the pet when you travel, containment, training, activity and stimulation specific to the animals breed and age.
Q: How do you choose who gets to adopt?
A: There are so many amazing families/applicants but we are looking for THE BEST FIT for each animal.

Q: Do we charge a surrender fee?
A: The cost of vetting, and care is a lot. We do ask for a $75 surrender fee, however if you can not afford it that does not mean we won’t help you.
